Once a subscription for this term ends, a grace period of 30 days follows.
Bank transfer: the invoice opens in your dashboard right after checkout, and the key is issued once the money arrives.
Who you pay for
A seat is the unit of a licence. Who needs one depends on the edition - and that alone is the difference between an invoice for forty people and one for three hundred.
Community - nobody is counted
Create as many accounts as you need: no limits on users, repositories, build minutes or storage. It is your hardware.
Pro - a seat for whoever got the tooling
An administrator assigns Pro seats by name; everyone else works as in Community and never reaches the invoice. That is why a company of three hundred pays for forty seats when forty people need the tooling. The smallest order is 1 seat.
Max - a seat for whoever got the tooling and for whoever signs in through the directory
A Max seat opens the same as a Pro seat. On top of that, everyone who signs in only through SAML or LDAP needs one: corporate sign-in is not part of Community, and such an account without a seat signs in but cannot work - not in the interface, not through the API, not over git. The product tells them that seats are assigned by the administrator. Whoever signs in with a password or through OAuth works as in Community without a seat and never reaches the invoice. So you need as many seats as the people you bring in through the directory and single sign-on, plus those who get the tooling. Seats are assigned by the administrator: none is handed out on first sign-in. The smallest order is 5 seats.
When the subscription ends
This is a condition of purchase, so it is stated before you pay. The order is the same as in clauses 4.6 and 4.7 of the licence agreement.
First - the grace period
After the end date the paid edition keeps working in full for as many days as the licence records. All that time the product warns everyone who signs in about the date, not only the administrator: the administrator may not use the service themselves.

Then - the paid part closes
Pro and Max capabilities switch off, and seats above the limit are removed. Sign-in through SAML and LDAP stops letting anyone in: corporate sign-in is part of the paid Max edition, not of Community. Whoever signed in only through the directory cannot get in until the administrator sets them a password.
What stays - Community
Data is neither deleted nor made inaccessible: the installation keeps running as Community. Password and OAuth sign-in keep working, the administrator may set a password for any account, and the product will not let the last administrator who signs in with a password be removed - so there is always someone to move people to passwords.
What a seat includes, and what you never pay extra for
Only what can be checked in the delivery itself is named here.
- We do not cap build minutes, storage, repositories or accounts: everything runs on your own hardware, and there is nothing for us to meter. Quotas exist, but the installation administrator sets them — for themselves, not us for you.
- The image registry and seven package formats (npm, PyPI, Cargo, Maven, NuGet, Composer, Generic), deployment from the repository and the GitHub and GitLab compatibility layers ship with the product and are not sold separately.
- The price per seat is the whole price. Nothing extra for what you build, store or transfer.
Packages for catalogues
Ready-made SKUs for resellers and procurement. The price is the same as for the same number of seats bought one by one: a package carries no special terms.

What to know about the price
A year costs 10 months
That is the term discount: paying monthly for a year comes out about a fifth dearer than paying yearly. The rule is the same for every edition and both domains.
The price is in your domain's currency
Roubles on gitriver.ru, dollars on gitriver.com. The two markets are not tied by an exchange rate: each price is set for its own market, and the markets are isolated in how they pay.
Licences of one edition stack
Two licences of 25 seats give you 50. Pro stacks with Pro and Max with Max, while a licence of another edition is not activated on an installation that already runs one: to switch, we reissue the licence.
An electronic licence
You buy a licence for the GitRiver program, made in Russia. The licence appears in your account right after payment; the program itself is a free download. Payment methods, refunds and payment security are on the Payment and delivery page.
