What a single node handles

Every number comes from a run on a dedicated server

ActionResponseCeiling on one node
Open a repository1.3 ms17,500 per second
Open the issue list1.9 ms12,600 per second
Create an issue2.8 ms3,130 per second
Code search26 ms54 per second
Fetch a repository (git clone)44 ms123 per second
Send changes (git push)59 ms120 per second

Six of the twelve scenarios — the rest are in the report. These are API calls, without page rendering in the browser. Response is the median for a single person at work. The ceiling is the highest request rate at which not one request failed.

Measured on a 16-thread Intel Xeon CPU E5-2667 v4, PostgreSQL 18.6, a database of 10,000 repositories, 100,000 issues and 100,000 pull requests (247 MB).

Over the run the server handled 4,085,212 requests and returned no errors at all.
